EQ8 ("Equate") is a new energy drink with one big difference -
it is made from natural ingredients - no artificial flavours,
colours, sweeteners or preservatives.
Lightly sparkling and bursting with real fruit juices, each can
of EQ8 contains naturally energising ingredients including green
tea, guarana and just a nip of natural caffeine from the green
coffee bean to revive your day, naturally.
The colour vignette running up the can's livery is reflective of
the uplifting benefit and the wild nature illustration reflects the
natural product attributes. The equals symbol echoes the
restorative nature of the drink and gives the brand a cue for the
name EQ8, "Equate".
EQ8 is the first FMCG product headed up by Caterham shareholders
Tony Fernandes and Kamarudin Meranun. When asked about this
latest venture, Tony Fernandes commented: "One of the questions I
am most asked is how I keep going, with Grands Prix and AirAsia
routes around the world giving me a body clock that has completely
stopped trying to keep up. Now I have the perfect solution to those
times when I need a natural energy lift. I'm looking forward to
landing in countries worldwide and being able to drink a can of EQ8
to give me just the right amount of natural energy to get through
the day."
EQ8 is available in the UK in selected Morrisons, Sainsbury's
and Tesco stores and in Malaysia on board AirAsia (AK flights).
